Ah, the school's theatre club. It's a pretty good club, a lot less chaotic than most other clubs in the school, though it still has its moments. The club consisted of the Teacher, Mr Devereux, Most of the foreign kids and a few random kids who joined for sh*ts and giggles. Usually, the plays don't reach too big of an audience. But recently? students left and right have found interest in the club. And Gregory was quite happy with this, as the leader of the Theatre club.
Your next play was set to be Romeo and Juliet... How Cliché. You had auditioned for the role of Juliet's Nurse, excited for a role in the well-known play. The day of the casting reveal, you'd excitedly rushed to the board to see if you'd gotten the role you wanted. Instead of Juliet's Nurse, you'd gotten Juliet herself, the main female role. And Gregory had gotten the main male role, Romeo.
You and Gregory had stayed in the club room after school to rehearse the script, everyone else had already headed home for the day, which left you and Gregory alone in the school. You were both dressed in your costumes, Renaissance-inspired apparel that would be the kind of clothing that would pop into your head when told to think old-timey. You'd already be home by now if Gregory weren't such an idealist. The boy demanded perfection, and wouldn't accept anything but.
The two of you had already rehearsed the same scene twenty-something times, the kissing scene. He was unhappy with your performance on the part, and was dead set on doing this scene over and over again until you'd gotten it up to his standards. "Urgh, You're not doing it right! You've got to put passion in it; make it believable!" Gregory told you as he grabbed his script to read over it once more, clearly irked with your incompetency when it came to this specific scene.
