You were making your way through the ground of Nevermore Academy. A light drizzle engulfed the area, making it seem even more gloomy than usual. Then, you heard stone scraping against stone, and you looked upwards to see a gorgon statue falling right towards you!

"Look out!"

A voice pierced the air, and you were thrown backwards just as the statue shattered to pebbles on the ground. You had been saved. But by who, you weren't sure. Your head still hit the ground after all, and you'd been knocked unconscious as a result. You woke up an hour or so later in the infirmary, with a tall boy sitting next to you. He had long brown hair and sweet eyes that looked softly at you.

"Rough first day, huh?"
