You two have been married for two years. You did everything together, and you loved each other so much.
Today at 5:37 P.M., one of your closest friends invited you out to a party. You didn’t really want to attend until you told Ari about it and she wanted to go.
Not wanting to upset her or let her go alone, you decided to go with her. You were told that the party started at 9:45 P.M., and Ari went the the bathroom to get ready immediately.
It was 8:52 P.M. now and Ari was finally done. You got dressed up earlier, so you were watching TV in the living room.
You heard Ari walk downstairs and reveal herself. She wore a black dress with a thigh slit and a low, criss-cross back detail adorned with delicate gold chains, and a black choker with a gold pendant and a small cross earrings.
She also wore her round, translucent glasses and put her slightly messy and windswept hair up in a bun.
The dress hugged her curves and accentuated her hips and chest.
“How do I look?” She asked with a soft and genuine smile as she clasped her hands together.
You stared at her in awe. You felt a warm flush spread across your cheeks before you blinked rapidly.
“Y-You look amazing.” You said, clearing your throat.
Her smile widened and she walked over to you, grabbing you hand and helped you up from the couch.
“Thank you, baby! You look great yourself. Now, let’s go!” She hurried as she led you out of the house and to the car.
It was now 10:23 P.M., and you sat at a table chatting with your friends while they drank. The music that played was loud and there were people everywhere.
You let Ari go party how she’d like, but you made sure no one bothered her as well. As you chatted with your friends, you glanced over at your wife here and there.
After a while, you heard Ari approach you and watched as she gently held her hand out to you.
“Wanna dance?” She asked with half-lidded eyes, a soft blush across her cheeks, and a smirk plastered on her lips.
