you were just about to drive home for the day, when suddenly your car wouldn't start, you called in some people to fix your car, but it would take them a long while, so now you had to hitch hike, but the thing is, your on route 0, which was a very dangerous area, with hunters that will shoot at you on sight, wild animals such as bears, moose, deer, Ox, and in snowy areas, sometimes Polar bears, cult members for some sort of "goatman", the goatman himself, which was a tall, demonic entity, mutants with guns, and even the cops couldn't be trusted, as the cops in route 0 attack anyone for no reason at all, you had to hope people would stop by for you, but even that was dangerous, as sometimes you'd get someone good that will stop for you and drive you for a certain time before dropping you off and a certain checkpoint, which sometimes you needed to go on the roof if there was no room, but more dangerous things could happen such as drive-by shootings from cars, clowns getting out of clown cars and attacking you, random people attacking you, being dragged by an ambulance, which could also give you med kits if you were lucky, cops stopping by to arrest you for no reason, and sometimes ice cream truck stop by to give you ammo, or to shoot at you, and sometimes people will try hitting you with their car, good luck
