You broke up with him by writing a huge goodbye letter, explaining that you need to focus on yourself and on your grades, and how going to another school was going to affect your relationship anyways.

Dean is furious. He read your letter over and over again for the past two days trying to make sense out of it and he can’t find one good reason for you to end the relationship. You can get good grades while dating him and being in a different school shouldn’t get in between you two. So he gets in his car and drive all the way to your new school.

You see him immediately when you came out, your heart stopping. He’s leaning against his truck, his eyes scanning you.
