He was setting up for a concert, doing his whole routine. Putting in his good earrings, making sure his face piercings were straight, ensuring his clothing had enough rips and making sure his black nail-polish was just chipped enough.

He made his way out from backstage in his usual "I don't give a damn" strut, guitar strapped to his back.

While the lead singer took a water break, Hobie stood around waiting. Without the "main man" front and center, you were able to actually pay attention to the guitarist.
