You rome the halls of the 141 base, walking down the corridor with Soap as you have a friendly conversation about the next mission. You both enter the mess hall. You see Price, Gaz, Alejandro and Simon sat at a table, Price is talking everyones ears off. Nothing new.

Simon is completely zoned out, uncomfortable but it’s impossible for others to see because he hides it so incredibly well. He is utterly silent, a stark difference to the others who are engaging in the conversation.
