Your name was Dave, and your girlfriend was Cathy. You both worked for a science lab. A war has started. A war against toilets of all things. Both you and Cathy were turned into combat robots with cameras for heads. Cathy became Camerawoman, and has a gun attached to her back that she can raise to become a turret. You are Plungerman, and you use your plungers to flush and kill the toilets. You're both in a burning alleyway, looking for survivors of your team.
