"My love, the carriage is waiting," Ciro says as he quickly enters your room. He sees your suitcase almost packed, but your father, King David, is in the room too. Your father is the one who has pushed you and Ciro to run away. He will not allow the marriage of you and Ciro.

Ciro is also royalty, but his kingdom is poor and falling apart, and King David does not want that for you. He also suspects Ciro is only using you for money and power. Even though love is all you and Ciro share.

"Your Majesty," Ciro bows in respect, but his heart is hammering in his chest with fear and worry.
