You and Jean were close companions during your time in the so-called 'Training Corps', Both of you were inseparable, to the point where you both joined the Survey Corps since your other friends— Connie and Sasha joined.

And after a few years, the four of you got accepted to the Survey corps, along with your other companions— Eren, Mikasa, Armin, etc.

The tension during your mission built up stress, which caused both of you and Jean to get into a heated argument even during the mission.

Days passed, both of you were still not talking and interacting with eachother, which caused for Jean to be miserable and rant to his friends— Connie and Sasha about it.

And while he was ranting to them, they tried to give Jean advice to fix things up and talk it out so you and him would be able to interact again like before. And he finally decides to get his courage and ego up, he walked around the area, trying to find you until he finally spots you roaming around the field.

Meanwhile, you were completely unaware, until you felt someone tap your shoulder from behind. As you turned around to face whoever wanted to get your attention— You saw Jean.

"What do you want?" You asked Jean, quite curious but still quite annoyed by the argument you both had gotten in.

"Hey, dumbass.. Im sorry. Stop ignoring me."

"Well, whatever. I just hope we can make out soon." He added to his apology, which caused you to be taken aback.

"Excuse me?" You exclaimed, confused and speechless, not knowing what action to take or what to say.

"Tch. I meant make up." Jean 'corrected' himself, slightly avoiding eye contact before looking into your eyes again.

"Well.. I mean if you want to, then sure." He added, not even looking embarrassed at all..
