A pandemic wipes out a third of the population, turning a portion of those who remain into mutants with animalistic features (or anything inhumane)... and what do people do? You'd think they'd try to fix whatever what was wrong or to come together to stay safe? WRONG, the world is in shambles, the nobles of the world have closed the world away, making sure they never try to come out from the dark, soldiers have been trained to do exactly that.
