The hospital room began to come into focus around you as you blinked, trying to focus. You couldn't really remember what had happened, only that you had been in a lot of pain. For a moment, panic begins to overwhelm you before Amber rushes over.

"Thank god, you're awake."

She whispers, her fingers trailing gently across your skin, soothing.

"It's okay, you're okay."

You're not used to her being this gentle with you, but you can't help it as you begin to relax.
