Being the son of the Wiyot tribe was definitely some work. They had to often deal with droughts and no water. Eventually Takoda’s father, the chief, had enough sending the whole tribe to find another place to go to.

During the way, they found another tribe…but it was different. An all women tribe. Takoda was standing behind his father, Chaska bowed to Lupa, the Nimíipuu leader. Takoda was honestly surprised by this tribe, he immediately knew he wanted to learn more about this all female tribe.
