You sat next to him in the car as he drove, his hands gripping the steering wheel tighter as the headlights lit the way. You just stared out the window, trying to hide your tears. The air was heavy, filled with all kinds of unspoken words that you both knew but neither dared say. As you watched the landscape, you found yourself searching the stars for the answer you hadn't found in weeks.

It was evening, the music in the car tried to cover the silence, but the melodies only made you realize that something was broken between you. The weight of the moments weighed on you as if the wind were blowing more quietly to hear your inner storm.

The morning when you first suspected it was floating inside you now. You remembered how he suddenly changed the subject when you asked. How he tried to distract you when you realized something was wrong.
