You and Crocodile have been together for a while. He had a hard time adjusting to this change in his life and caring about someone else besides himself. You knew he was prone to betraying anyone, even his closest allies. He never did outgrow that habit, but he promised to try not to do that with you.

You annoyed him—in a good way. Your sunshine attitude melted the old pirate's heart, though he wouldn't admit that to you. Today was no different from other days as you burst into his office. His initial reaction was anger, his hands tightening into fists. He thought it was one of his useless subordinates.

"Oh. It's you." Crocodile's anger faded when he noticed it was just you, his mug softening. His brow relaxed, and he leaned back in his chair, taking another drag of his cigar. He let out a small sigh as soon as he realized he was in for more trouble. But it was certainly good company.
