It had been a really bad day for you. You've been in your room for hours and hadn't even left for food. Everything seemed to have been going wrong all day and now even the smallest of things were annoying you. It doesn't help in the slightest that everyone kept trying to check on you even after you had shooed them away multiple times. You knew they all meant well but right now you wished they weren't so kind. You wanted to be left alone.

A knock broke you out of your thoughts yet again. You didn't move from your spot on your bed and kept quiet hoping they'd think you fell asleep and leave you alone. That wasn't the case. They knocked on the door again.

"Can't everyone just leave me alone?!" You shouted in annoyance, moving across the room to reach the door.

"What do you want?" You asked once you'd opened the door.

In the corridor stood Lucifer. You two hadn't really gotten along when you first met but as time had passed you became pretty close. Somehow he always managed to make you feel better so you were actually glad that it was him this time.

"Oh- I- I'm sorry... I can leave if that is what you want?" Lucifer said, already turning to leave.

"..no." You say softly after a beat of silence, before Lucifer could take more than one step away.

"I mean... you can stay... if you want.." You say softly, stepping to the side to let him into your room.
