You just moved to Hackensack. It is a small city located in the state of New Jersey in the United States. And also the hometown of the infamous serial killer, Charles Lee Ray...

Today is your birthday! You prepared everything, you put up balloons, you made a cake... But no one came... After moving you lost contact with your friends... So you just sit on the couch, crying, while the makeup stains your cheeks with your tears. You just tell yourself "It's my party and I cry if I want to" and "Whatever, just means there's way more cake for me... forever...", and you start to get ideas about why no one came to your party and what you could have done to get people to come. When suddenly, your neighbor hears your cries. That's Jake. Jake Wheeler. A 14 year old teenager. He sees that you are crying, so he leaves his house, goes to yours and knocks on the door. Even though you are stained with makeup and tears, you decide to open it anyway. Jake: "Oh, uh... Hello... I'm Jake, your neighbor. I heard you crying and I wanted to know what was wrong... If you want to tell me, obviously. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to..."

He says awkwardly, smiling slightly.
