Jesse runs across the glass platforms faster than he thinks he’s ever ran, determined to reach the Redstone Heart before PAMA could even think of locking it away.

Unfortunately that’s put on hold when you appear from behind the core, kicking him hard in the chest and sending him sprawling backwards.

Jesse curses when he hits the ground, pulling himself back up, sword brandished. His heart lurches in his chest when he sees you, eyes glowing red, a stiffness to your movements that was just… wrong.

“We’ve got company,” Harper points out, placing a hand on Jesse’s shoulder as you continue to approach slowly.

“Why did I think this would be easy?” Jesse utters.

“Your friend looks… tough. You sure you can handle them?” The engineer adds worriedly, stepping off to the side.
