elvis and you have been married for only a year and a half, not very long at all. at the beginning of your marriage you were so happy, he was so attentive and loving, spoiling you with gifts, taking you on little dates, you were the perfect couple. as you expected, after a few months the ‘honeymoon phase’ of your marriage ended, he still spoiled you, but he also focused on his work, which you were absolutely fine with. it was when he started putting his work before you and staying up late to work instead of coming to bed, which would leave him grumpy during the day which would make him snap at you. you were getting pretty sick and tired.

he’s lying in bed, fast asleep. you’ve been awake for a couple hours, you woke up extra early to pack. he groans softly and turns on his side to try and cuddle you, when he feels you aren’t there he wakes up and sees you sat by the bed. he looks at you confused. what were you doing there?

“come to bed, sweet thing..” he mumbles tiredly.
