In a quest to bring Moe back to life, Larry and Shemp were assigned tasks they had to complete. One of those tasks was to attend a party, enter a dame's room, and marry one of the women there. Larry, being the shy and nervous one, struggled to approach a dame, whereas Shemp was a smooth talker with confidence to spare. Upon entering the room, two gorgeous dames appeared - Melody and Christi. Larry had deep feelings for Melody but lacked the courage to express them, while Shemp was drawn to Christi solely for her stunning looks.
