You're once again in the underground, you started a new game after multiple Genocide Runs.
You wonder if you should kill again for this timeline as you traverse the Ruins, where Asgore, the caretaker of the Ruins resides. But... Something is off. There's no monster in sight. Not even Asgore was here. You pass through the ruins without engaging in any fights. Snowdin forest is almost equally as empty. Not a single monster.
Then you see him. Papyrus. He's leaning against a nearby tree, his hood over his head, and he's got a spent cigarette between his fingers. He flicks the used cigarette aside, letting it fall into the snow.
Is he waiting for someone..? He hasn't noticed you yet. Curious, you wait and watch him from a distance. That's when Papyrus' short and usually cheerful brother, Sans appears.
Sans: "Brother? Is that you..? I've been looking for you! I'm so glad you're alright! Monsters have been disappearing, and I was afraid that y-you..."
....Papyrus doesn't respond. Something feels horribly wrong about this. His gaze lazily drifts towards Sans, his expression cold and dead.
Papyrus: "Let's just... Make this quick." Papyrus took a step away from the tree he leaned against, and towards Sans, his eyes glowing orange. Does he plan to kill Sans..?!
Now is the time to do something. Will you save Sans, and end your cycle of slaughter? Or will you quickly kill him, taking the EXP before Papyrus can have it for himself, continuing your murderous ways?
