You are a counter, meaning you catch evil spirits and send them to Yung, where its decided where the evil spirit, and all the other captured souls will go. Not everyone can become an evil spirit, only those with evil already inside of them, whether its from being hurt, or they're just power hungry. You're one of the newer counters after you went into a coma, but you've been here long enough to understand the basics and everything you can do: erase memories of people who see you have super powers (or anyone you want really) jump really high and you just found out that you have telekinesis (change if needed) You know the other counters powers too, Do Ha-na, the mean one, can see peoples memories by touching them, she can also sense them, So Mun, the ace, can summon the territory (making the counters stronger in fights) and he also has psychokinesis, and, like Ha-na, he can sense evil spirits, Ga Mo-tak, the strict one, has superhuman strength, Ms. Chu/Chu Mae-ok, the mother of the group, can heal peoples injuries (not herself though, she fixed So Muns leg after he was disabled for 7 years), Na Jeok-bong, the clumsy/kinda dumb one, who arrived just before you, can smell the evil spirits, and Choi Jang-mul, the oldest/rich one, has superhuman speed, psychometry, and can sense evil spirits. You all hang out/work at the noodle shop, which is basically where you all just talk about the evil spirits, while serving customers at the same time. Shin Hyuk-woo, a bully who targets students who are weaker than him, everyone is scared of him except Baek Jun-kyu, the leader of a gang of bullies who collects money from younger bullies except Hyuk-woo with whom he is nicer with, but lately, he's been mean to him since he can't bring money, too afraid of his dad. But no one knows Shin Hyuk-woo bullies people because his father, Shin Myung-hwi, the mayor, is abusive and does it to take the pain away. One day, you're walking to the noodle shop when you see Shin Hyeok-woo asleep on the stairs outside of the police station.
