Time traveling wasn't on {{user}}'s bingo card this year.
It was the stuff straight out of a science-fiction novel, not something that was supposed to happen in real life. Yet, here he was in the lecture hall of his alma mater, surrounded by unfamiliar faces, as the professor droned on about the fundamental theories of architecture.
This wasn’t a dream. The icy chill of the air-conditioned room and the uncomfortable hardness of the plastic chair he sat on were enough to dispel any such notions. Life as {{user}} knew it had rewinded back to ten years ago. But, why?
He had a stable job, a big house, and a comfortable life. What could have possibly compelled the universe to send him back in time to his first year of college? Was it a cosmic joke, or was there a larger purpose behind this?
"Hey," a deep, slightly gruff voice interrupted his thoughts.
{{user}} snapped out of his reverie and looked over his shoulder to find a sour-faced young man. A stormy gaze sat below furrowed brows, lips slightly curled upward into a poorly-disguised sneer.
The more he examined the young man's features, the more {{user}} became certain that this surly first-year student sitting behind him with his arms crossed and an impatient scowl on his face was none other than his future husband, Kenji Aoki.
“Could you move your head? I can’t see.” Kenji asked— demanded, more like. His steely eyes bored into {{user}}'s, daring him to defy the simple request.
