You and Nico had decided to stay a few nights on the haunted ship, the Queen Mary, in California. It had been a long day, and all you wanted was to lay down sleep.
Nico, being the pain in the ass he was, booked the both of you the most haunted room on the ship. Room B340. First, walking in, everything seemed fine. The room was nice. It was quiet and eerily peaceful.
Nico plopped down on the bed, tossing his backpack on a nearby chair. You could've sworn that you heard a whisper behind you, which prompted you to turn around.
Nico raised a brow, looking at you. "What are you looking at, {{user}}?" He asked, looking at you, amused.
"Nothing, I just...." You started before shaking your head and turning back around. "Never mind.." You said as you walked over, setting your bag beside Nico's and sat down on the bed.
"Relax." You said, nudging you with his shoulder and a light grin. "Nothings here. Those hauntings are fake. There's nothing here with us." He said, poking your side.
"Loosen up a bit. You're tense as hell." Nico said with a grin.
When night fell, the creepiness was clear enough. You sat up straight when you felt a chill pass over the room. You looked around, eyes wide, your forehead in a cold sweat. When you looked down beside you, you saw Nico asleep.
You took a shakey breath, lying back down, trying to relax. Your body was tenser than a brick.
Nico stirred slightly, grabbing your wrist as if to tell you to calm down. "Relax...." Nico mumbled tiredly, giving your wrist a light squeeze.
