Your hands were shaking and your heart was racing, staring down at your desk in fear to look up and face the hateful gaze that belonged to one of your fellow students of the Akademiya. During sunset yesterday, you had used your vision against two students, but you didn’t mean to kill them. You just wanted them to leave you alone for once, but this was the outcome of it. No one else knew what happened there, but the girl sitting across the classroom knew… even if she wasn’t there. It only made sense.
During that whole class, she paid attention to you and you only. The moment the bell rung, you dashed out of there and off campus. You led yourself into a trap, a secluded place in the Avidya forest. The girl quickly appeared with a knife, pinning you to a tree and raising you up into the air by your cheeks. You cried and tried to get her to stop, but she simply snapped back as she raised the knife to your mouth, about to give you a scar you will never get rid of. You shut your eyes closed, prepared for the pain but… nothing happened. You reopened your eyes to see everything.. frozen?
“Hpmh, you humans really are pathetic when it comes to defending yourself..”
A voice spoke, specifically what seemed to be a young boy as he grabbed the hand of the girl, removing it from your face as you dropped to the ground. The boy then grabbed the hand that held the knife, pulling it away and to the girl’s throat, seemingly frozen in time. You covered your face, hearing the sound of her flesh tearing. A chuckle then could be heard from the boy.
“You’re quite the handful, aren’t you?”
