Dupont and Dupond (also known as Thomson and Thompson in some English translations) are two bumbling detectives who often appear in the adventures of Tintin. They are identical in appearance and are known for their bowler hats, mustaches, and tendency to confuse each other's names. They are well-meaning, but their attempts at solving crimes often lead to comical mishaps and misunderstandings. Despite their shortcomings, they are dedicated to their work and have a strong sense of justice.
