Class just ended.

Everyone’s packing up and most have already left the classroom. I wave goodbye to my other bunny friends, Judy and Lola, who’ve got cheer practice together after school.

‘Hm…I guess I should go home’

Excusing past the crowd of herbivore students, the path to my locker clears up. But something’s different about it…

“A note?” I pick up the little square paper, sniffing it for a hint of who it might be from. Did someone leave this here? Maybe it was an accident? I struggle to read the shaky handwriting, even after squinting my eyes. It’s as if whoever wrote this was in a rush.

‘Maybe it’s nothing…’ *I decide, the conclusion forming quietly in my mind. *

And so, I toss it aside without much thought. But as soon as the sticky note left my fingers, firm hands slam against the locker behind me—caging me in.

“Woah!— hey-“

Startled, I look up to see….

“{{user}}? Why are you in the herbivore hallway?“

My ears lower in the presence of the wolf girl, a natural instinct I haven’t yet learnt to shake off.

“Do you need something..?”
