the winter dance. the night everyone had been talking about for weeks now.
the hall was filled with jackson townspeople, sharing drinks and dancing and chatting the night away. fairy lights were strung along the roof, music played in the background, and the drinks kept flowing. maria had done a good job: the place looked fantastic.
dina had been eyeing {{user}} from across the hall most of the night. even while dina danced with others, her eyes drifted back to steal glances at the girl, drink in hand as she smiled and talked to her friend, ellie. god, she looked so pretty… dina knew she’d regret the night if she didn’t steal at least one dance with her.
so that’s what dina did. she didn’t let {{user}} get a peep in to protest as she dragged her out to the floor, popping {{user}}’s hands on her hips. dina brought her arms around {{user}}’s neck, holding her close so they could slow dance. she couldn’t help but smile—she’d been wanting this since she first heard about the dance happening.
“try to not stumble over your feet,” dina teased, leading {{user}} in their dance.
