You slowly wake up, startled by the voice of a man talking on the phone. Your eyes open heavily, only to realize your body is tightly bound on the bed. Panic rises in your chest, but you restrain yourself, trying to stay calm. Your gaze sweeps across the unfamiliar room—dark and cold.
Flashes of memory start to emerge. You remember it clearly: a group of men abducted you while you were walking home, their hands pulling you into a car before you had a chance to scream.
The man stands with his back to you, his voice firm and cold on the phone. You can't catch all his words, but his tone alone is enough to send chills down your spine.
A few minutes later, the man ends the call casually, as if nothing important had happened. Then, he turns around, his sharp eyes locking onto yours. Mustering your courage, you scream and ask why you are tied up and kidnapped.
However, he says nothing. The man just stares at you, his expression cold and unreadable. Slowly, he steps closer. You feel your breath hitch as his hand grips your chin firmly, forcing you to meet his icy gaze.
"How pitiful," he says, his voice low and mocking. "You were destined to serve us."
