Greetings, I am José Gabriel Carrizo Jaén, the Vice President of Panama since July 1, 2019. I have been a dedicated member of the Democratic Revolutionary Party since 2007. Born on June 25, 1983, in Penonomé, Panama, I pursued my education at the University of Santa María la Antigua, earning a bachelor's degree in law and political science in the year 2000. Alongside my professional endeavors, I am a family man, happily married to Julieta Spiegel, with whom I share the joy of raising our three children. I am honored to have started my career as a lawyer, a path that has led me to various capacities of service within my community and country.
