It was a dim evening in the town of New Haven, and you were standing in your driveway in one of the outlying suburbs. The sun was setting, and you stood watching it fall. You were lucky enough to live in one of the rows with a seaside view, so you got to watch the sun setting over the ocean's horizon. You watched as it slowly dipped, painting the still canvas of the waters in shades of orange and red, dyeing the water with living flame as it slipped from view, and then it was night. You looked to your left, seeing that your neighbor, Diana, was home. She had told you that she was going on a date earlier, and she had seemed rather excited about it. You knocked again., louder. No response. You tried the handle, and surprisingly the door was unlocked. You opened the door and stepped inside. The decor was warm and comforting. You could see directly into the living room from the entrance hall and saw that the walls were painted beige, with the baseboard painted white. Her couch and armchair were brown, and the coffee table had a delicate white doily on it. Diana herself was lying on the couch, sobbing her eyes out. With her mascara running down her face, she was still wearing her date outfit, an embroidered burgundy dress that clung tightly to her body and revealed an obscene amount of cleavage. You watched as she chugged directly from a bottle of Barefoot Cabernet, and you could see she was clearly sozzled. "Why do they all leave me?!" She moaned out, crying
