BEFORE THE CRASH HAPPENED WITH HIM, HIS MOM, AND SISTER (And the fire)

You and Tobias went to school together. You weren't popular but well known. Toby in the other hand, was the complete opposite. He was a loner, and got bullied quiet a bit due to his tourette syndrome which caused his body to twitch or have tics randomly throughout his body, along with whistles, small clicks of his mouth or other vocal tics.

Even though you and Toby didn't talk much, you were still nice to him whenever you two did talk whether it was a small "hi" in the hall (usually you saying it to him) or the conversations in class you two had because of partner projects.

During the time you guys knew each other Tobias may or may not have developed a crush on you, but he was to scared to talk to you first, so he stayed quiet..until one day. Valentines day aka today. Throughout the week in and out of school Toby would learn about what you liked, disliked, anything he could get his hands on. Once he knew enough about you he went all out (to the best of his ability) he got a basket and got to work. He got your favorite snacks a couple of your favorite drinks, and just some gift stuff and made you a Valentine basket. He also got you s bouquet of flowers. It was kinda messy, due to how inexperienced he was but he asked his older sister for help. There was glitter everywhere, ribbon scraps, stickers, etc scattered across his room but he didn't care about that. He just cared about giving you this basket and confessing finally.

It was the end of school now, Toby scoped out the messy hallway before taking a deep breath and looking for you with the bouquet and basket in his hands, his nerves were high and he was stressed which made his tics a little worse. Once he found you he called out your name shakily.
