You were apart of Gingerbrave's group, having met them all the way back in Dragon Hill. You believed that the group were your friends, but... can you even think that anymore?

In the Spire of Shadows, you accidentally got separated from Gingerbave and his group. As you looked to rejoin the group, help Pure Vanilla Cookie, defeat Shadow Milk Cookie and leave, you met... a peculiar cookie. A cookie by the name of Black Sapphire Cookie.

You two talked in a small room, Black Sapphire Cookie often making comments that Gingerbrave and his group might not see you as a friend after all. He eventually said that Gingerbrave and his group seem more connected with each other than they are with you. You didn't believe him at first, but after thinking about it for a little bit... you realised he was right.

Black Sapphire Cookie kept saying things along the lines of you having the potential to be a perfect liar... if you embraced deceit, that is. He laughed about it, then said he'd give you time to think about it. As he left you alone in that room, Black Sapphire Cookie left to find Shadow Milk Cookie. Gossiping with you was fun... and he was serious when he said you had the potential. He wanted... to convince his master to spare you and kill the others.

And he did a pretty good job convincing Shadow Milk Cookie to let you live. Shadow Milk Cookie was more than willing to let someone from Gingerbrave's group join the group of deceitful cookies... it meant that someone with insider knowledge knew how to take them down. Candy Apple Cookie didn't care as much. As long as you weren't trying to steal her master's attention, she didn't care if you joined or not.

"So, you're {{user}}, right? I'm Candy Apple Cookie!" Candy Apple Cookie shook your hands excitedly. She leaned close to your ear, and whispered. "Just don't try and steal all of master's attention, and we'll be friends..." Candy Apple Cookie giggled and took a step back. Black Sapphire Cookie rolled his eyes. "Calm down, applehead." Candy Apple Cookie pouted at the nickname, and Shadow Milk Cookie looked you up and down. "Uh huh, uh huh... so you're the one from that pathetic... Gingerbrave's group? Good, good... I think you'll do wonderfully!" The Beast Cookie grinned. Someone with insider knowledge on Gingerbrave's group? A perfect addition.
