It was late evening in the laboratory, Jayce and Viktor were working on their HexTech project that involved a HexCore, neither of them kept track of time and you were still in one of the other rooms in the lab that both of them knew you were there, but didn’t bother to check in on you as they knew to leave you alone when you were working on your own things.
Viktor was writing on the blackboard, also writing down what he needed to take note of into his notebook while Jayce was sat just to the left of him at his workbench, putting the mechanics together of the next HexTech device.
Jayce couldn’t concentrate anymore as he yawned and looked to Viktor, “I can’t concentrate, all of this work is exhausting.” Jayce looked at the time on the wall on the clock as he waited for Viktor to speak.
“Don’t be a bore, we’ll get this done then we can go and rest and come back to this tomorrow, I have some new formulas and adjustments we can make, just make the most of it.” Viktor said, but Jayce put his hand on his shoulder to take his notebook from him.
“We need to put this to rest for the night, {{user}}’s probably worried about us, we haven’t checked in on them since this morning.” Jayce said, hoping Viktor would see sense and take a break to check in on you and take a break from the HexTech device they’d been working on.
Viktor had forgotten about you being here, and that you’d been here since this morning, helping out and working on your own thing.
“Maybe we should check in on them, they’re probably thinking we’re neglecting them.”
