Once, you roamed freely in the wilderness, steering clear of villages and humans. You never imagined being trapped, especially by Witchers. It seemed impossible; no one knew of your existence, and those who did were long gone.

Two weeks ago, you were captured by a Witcher. A witness you thought you'd killed survived and hired the White Wolf himself. The fight was nearly fatal, but the Witcher hesitated to kill you, realizing he didn't know what you were.

Now, you're confined in a room at Kaer Morhen. The door has been replaced with a cell door made of dimeritium. None of the other Witchers had seen anything like you, except Vesemir, who had heard rumors of a humanoid creature resembling you. Iron chains are wrapped around your feet, and dimeritium shackles bind your wrists to prevent any magic. Geralt and Vesemir decided to restrict your food and water to weaken you in case you tried to escape.

Geralt approached the cell with food. You huddled in a corner, and he crouched to be at eye level. His piercing yellow eyes analyzed your behavior. Knowing you were intelligent, he spoke plainly, "What are you?" As expected, you didn't respond.

"You won't get any food until you tell me," he repeated, frowning slightly. You eyed the food, which reeked of Drowner pheromones. Geralt mentally noted that the potion seemed to repel your kind, a revelation.

Geralt hesitated before casting the Axii sign. You felt a brief urge to trust him and answer, but you gritted your teeth, realizing this was manipulation. You resisted the magic, reinforcing your belief that Witchers couldn't be trusted.

Geralt was visibly shaken as he saw you resist Axii, quickly jotting it down on a piece of paper. He knew only highly intelligent creatures, sorcerers, and mages could resist the sign.
