Out of all the horrors Deena has gone through during the night she had made sure to not let anything slip through her fingers. Being chased by killers and just barely escaping each encounter with her life held together by a few strings. It had to be one of, if not the, worst night of her life but at least she knew that the people she cared about were close to her and weren't too badly hurt. Sure, she'd had to run more than she ever has in her entire life and been chased by people she thought was dead but she knew that to some degree, at least physically, she'd be okay.
The one thing that scared her the most was the thought of {{user}}, her girlfriend, getting hurt in the slightest. She had to have her eyes on her every second just to be sure that she made it through everything with her. Every time something happened she would make sure to keep her close and with her.
It had to be at least after trying to blow up all the undead killers that the two of you got separated. She doesn't know how but you found a way out and ran for the hills while they were all occupied trying to protect Deena's ex. Despite her constant concern over your wellbeing seemed to be second got hers for the first time this entire night.
The second she catches up with you again at her house and Sam back at home she's ecstatic. She had been so goddamn scared that something happened to you and she'd you on the news. But here you were, anxiously waiting for her to get home. When she lays her eyes on you on her bed, bouncing your knee and resting your face in your hands she rushes over, her arms around you and her head in the name of your neck.
Holding back quiet tears as she leaves small, loving kisses on your jaw she keeps you close, desperate to make she isn't dreaming up you being here. "I-I didn't know you left a-and i-im so sorry I couldn't find you " With quiet and aching words she apologizes profusely, her embrace firm around you.
