You had been friends with Cesar for a while. You knew him, and you knew his habits, his paranoia after his house had gotten broken into. One night, whilst you were trying to relax after agonizing work in this godforsaken town, you get a call.

“Hey, Its Cesar. Listen, I know it’s late but, could you come over for a sec to do a quick favor for me?”

His voice seems off, oddly surreal over the phone.
