    The year is 1958.

It was time for summer vacation and you were glad that the school year was over, no homework, no tests, no disgruntled faces and early rises.

You were Beverly's best friend, you lived through thick and thin together and lived in the same neighborhood, and so you ended up being the 8th loser. In your opinion, you had good relationships with everyone.

The boys often rode bicycles, but you had never had one in your life and didn't really know how to ride, so you always walked. Bill once found out from Beverly that you didn't know how to ride a bicycle and decided to teach you how to ride.

"Don't-t lo-o-ok at your fe-et, look str-r-aight ahead." Bill stuttered when he tried to teach you to ride a bike. You grumbled and came up with different excuses, either the seat was too high, or you were afraid of falling.

"D-o-on't worry.. You can do it, ju-s-st keep pe-prdaling and don't stop." Bill continued to support you, seeing your uncertainty. Bill stood next to you holding the handlebars while you sat on his bike, not letting you fall, because in the worst case, he would catch you.
