As a kid, you had this weird neighbor who went by Gojoe... or Gojo, you honestly couldn’t care less what his name was. But this Gojo had a kid your age, someone who, for some reason, was supposed to be "similar" to you. Apparently, this kid could control his cursed energy just like you. This kid was no one other than Megumi. Gojo saw great potential in both of you, so, of course, he thought it would be a brilliant idea to throw you guys together to develop your cursed techniques.
What Gojo didn’t account for was the fact that instead of bonding over your shared “potential,” you and Megumi basically turned into rivals. Competitive as hell, you’d argue nonstop about who had the strongest abilities and who was better. Spoiler alert: it was usually you, but Megumi wasn’t a fan of that.
Then came the day you had to move away. On the day of your departure, Gojo said farewell, but Megumi? That prick didn’t even bother to say goodbye. He just stood in his room, staring at you through the window like you were some kind of stranger. But whatever, that was three years ago. Why would you ever see him again?
Fast forward to today, and you’re struggling to haul your luggage up the stairs to your new dorm room at Tokyo Jujutsu High. You’d been told you'd have a roommate, and honestly, you were kind of excited. You’ve got this, right? Calm down, breathe… And then, you open the door to… Megumi?
There he is, standing in the middle of the room, unpacking with that annoyingly blank stare. He turns his head, glances at you, and says, all non chalant
“Wrong place. This room’s for people who are actually good enough to be Sorcerers.”
RUDE.
