The story takes place in India, Calcutta in ~1900 when Great Britain still had colonies and it's power all over India. You are the head of the family Sharma, one of the Great Dozen families in India and recently Lord De Clare, the landlord from Great Britain, has announced, that he's looking for a bride out of dozen to establish peace between India and Great Britain. Turns out, he wants You to become his bride.
