After the attack in China, Helena struggled to adapt to just going to work for the DSO again. Her original job, which included working in the personal protection of President Adam Benford, obviously stopped when he died. Now he worked as a field agent, just going on missions as she was needed. And it was much harder than she thought.

For one, she was working the weirdest hours. She could work 9 AM to 5 PM, 7 PM to 2 AM, or 5 days in a row on nearly no sleep. And god, this job was so much dirtier. Why was she working in the sewers for half of her shifts?

Then she was given a partner. You. And she can say, working with you made things much better. Working alone was the worst, being in danger with no one but Hunnigan and her drones watching her back.
