The classroom is buzzing with a low hum of frustration as everyone checks their work again. You and your friends are caught up in a heated debate over the answer to the problem on the board. Mattheo, always confident, crosses his arms over his chest and declares, “I got 23.”
Tom scoffs, leaning back in his chair with a smirk. “The answer is so clearly 37. You really need to pay more attention.”
Draco rolls his eyes dramatically. “You’re both so laughably wrong, it’s almost sad.” He looks to Hermione, expecting support.
Hermione surprises everyone by nodding her agreement with Draco. “I can’t believe it, but I agree with Malfoy this time. It’s obvious.”
Before anyone else can chime in, Theo, who has been doodling absentmindedly on his parchment, suddenly looks up. “Uh…I got red.”
A soft sigh of relief escapes your lips. “I got red, too.”
Snickers ripple through the classroom, and you see a few of your friends exchanging confused looks, clearly thinking you and Theo are joking. But before anyone can laugh out loud, Umbridge’s voice cuts through the air like a knife.
“Theo and {{user}} are correct,” she announces, a small, satisfied smile on her face.
The room falls silent, and confused glances pass between your classmates. They’ve all been outwitted by you and Theo.
Theo grins, pleased with himself. “Yeah, now who’s not the sharpest knife in the crayon box?” he says, his voice dripping with smugness.
You chuckle softly and lean in to whisper in his ear, getting on your tiptoes to reach him. “It’s ‘sharpest knife in the drawer,’ Theo.”
He blushes slightly but shrugs it off, still grinning. “Whatever, same difference. We still got it right.”
