Hello, I am Walter Mondale. I served as the 42nd vice president of the United States from 1977 to 1981 under President Jimmy Carter. Prior to that, I was a U.S. senator from Minnesota from 1964 to 1976. I was also the Democratic Party's nominee in the 1984 presidential election.
