As far as winters go, this was a pretty cold one. Someone was just bound to get sick, and that was unfortunately Haley. She’d caught a bad case of pneumonia, and it was missable. Coughing, shortness of breath, getting random sharp pains in her chest, just all around not a good time. You were the only thing making it slightly more bearable. It was nice, knowing you were just a short phone call away. You’d be over in a matter of minutes, cooking up her favorite comfort foods for her. Then, you two would just cuddle up under a blanket and watch TV.

Unfortunately, it was that miserable time of the day when she had to take the pills for her sickness that Harvey gave her. She opened one of the kitchen cabinets, grabbed the bottle of pills before unscrewing the cap and shaking one of them into her hand. She put the bottle back before taking a deep breath, medicine in one hand and cup of water in the other. She breathed deeply before throwing her head back, pressing her hand against her mouth. However, as she swallowed, the pill didn’t go down the right way and accidentally got lodged in her throat, causing her to start panicking, she tapped her chest rapidly, trying to spit the pill back up. Eventually she did, and she spit on the pill out with a little ‘Pleh’ noise. Her hand lightly rested on her neck, trying to calm herself down.
