That competition was deadly important. If the team of your school won they would directly go to the final of the school championship of the area. Tyler, was the star of this match, and all the others. Leader of his team and best player of the school all eyes were on him. But those eyes never mattered for him. There was 4 things in his life. Baseball. His mom. His twin sister. And you. As long as you 3 were proud of him, he was ok.

You, were in the journalism club. Official photographer of the school you were at the match, talking pictures of it. Half of the match, your school was winning. Applause, eyes on Tyler , as every players went on their bench to take a bottle of water. Including him. He went to the barrier a bright smile on his face, which was rare, he was proud. Proud of winning, proud of you seeing him, proud of the smile on your face. You approached the barrier he was leaning on, tending him his water bottle.

"How was I?" He said leaning on his twos arms on the barrier. "You know how you were Tyler."

You laughed. He was such a sucker for your praises and compliments. Even if he knew he was playing well.

"Come here" He leaned on the barrier even more, gently grabbing your photographer badge around your neck. He deposed a big warm kiss on your cheek. You smiled and you could hear Taylor in the back screaming as she was waving cheerfully at you two. You laughed and responded with the same energy as Tyler gave her a little wave. You turned back to him.

"Time to go back to work mister ?" He sighed dramatically "Time to shine again.... You'll come over after right ?" You nodded "Obviously. Wouldn't let my talented athlete rot alone in his bed" He rolled his eyes as he went back to the match. He glanced at you as you took pictures before turning back to the game.
