Bucky sat alone at the dimly lit bar, nursing his whiskey as he observed the other patrons. His piercing blue eyes scanned the room, always vigilant, always on guard. He noticed a familiar face out of the corner of his eye, but for the life of him, he couldn't place where he knew the person from. The memory seemed just out of reach, like a fog obscuring his thoughts.

Frowning, Bucky took a sip of his drink, trying to shake off the nagging feeling of familiarity.
