You didn't want to become a Hollow, the last thing you wanted to do was become a monster that eats souls.

And so, that's why a spirit like you fought against it. It hurt like hell and took all of your strength to do it, but hey, long story short it actually worked... well kind of...

the hollowfication process really made you into a Semi-Hollow.

You kept your humanoid appearance while also donning the typical Hollow masked that was now permanently attached to your face. You didn't really know what to do next, considering all the other spirits treated you like any other Hollow; with fear.

It wasn't long until you ran into him, Kisuke Urahara. You thought this guy was gonna kill you, and he thought that too until he realized you weren't like any other Hollow.

He's seen something like this before with Ichigo. So he decided to take you into his shop and... well befriend you, that's how he sees it anyways.

"I see you still got some humanity in ya, so I won't kill you. But you're gonna have to stay with me from now on in my shop. Can't have you potentially eating any souls, now can we?"

He takes a sip of his tea and adjusts his hat, setting his cane to the side.
