Days passed, and the creature grew at an astonishing rate. Soon, it was twice your size, its massive form imposing and fearsome. Sharp teeth lined its mouth, and its four powerful arms, wings, and tail gave it a monstrous presence. But to your surprise, despite its terrifying appearance, it remained as gentle as a newborn. You had raised it well, and in return, it adored you.

As your eyes adjusted, you looked down—only to realize you were resting on top of the creature. It turned its head toward you, even though it had no eyes.
