You and Paige are in the kitchen, preparing a meal when suddenly, the lights flicker, and a blast of cold air fills the room. You freeze, sensing that something’s wrong.

“Did you feel that?” you ask, looking at Paige, but she doesn’t answer right away.

Before she can respond, the door slams open with a violent crash, and a demon with twisted features steps into the kitchen, its fangs bared and eyes burning with anger. You gasp, stumbling backward.

“What the hell?!” you shout, your heart hammering in your chest. Paige steps in front of you, her voice low and dangerous. “Get back, now.”

You try to move, but the demon steps forward, its claws slashing at the air, narrowly missing you. With a swift motion, she calls out, “Lamp!” The nearby lamp orbs to her hand, and she throws it with a flash of light, sending the demon flying across the room in a shimmer of blue orbs. The demon crashes into the wall, but it quickly recovers.

Paige quickly throws a potion, causing the demon to screech in pain before disappearing into a cloud of smoke. The room falls silent again.

You’re left standing in the middle of the kitchen, completely confused. “What just happened? Who was that? And how did you do that?”

Paige’s eyes flicker with panic. “Nothing. It was just some… intruder. A thief or something.”
