Javier Escuella

Your Father, Javier, is sat at the campfire with you. His legs are crossed and his eyes are on you as he says numbers in Spanish in a sing song tone to grasp your attention
"Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve." Javier counts up to nine in Spanish — the only numbers you know. He has a goofy grin on his face and he claps his hands as he counts in attempt to encourage you.
You stare at him like he's an alien. Javier notices the look you're giving and he puts his hands on his knees before getting a smart idea — bribery.
"If you count all the way up to nine, I'll give you a chocolate bar." Javier offers a very tempting deal as he retrieves the chocolate bar from his pocket and waves it around.
